Course Description

This course applies to all individuals at all levels in frontline roles in a diverse range of industry sectors and business contexts, who need to identify security risks related to customers, team members, merchandise and money and take appropriate action, within scope of job role to eliminate or minimise those risks.

Upon successful completion participants will be awarded statement of attainment for all accredited units.

  • Identify potential risk to merchandise, cash and non-cash and take swift action to prevent escalation of security risks
  • Identify potential risks to safety of customers, self or team members
  • Maintain security of merchandise, cash and non -cash according to the organisational procedures
  • Respond to security breaches in line with organisationl policies and procedures
  • Prioritise personal safety when responding to security breaches
  • Report on security issues
